How It All Started

Snoop Dogg has been in the game since bustin’ onto the scene with Dr. Dre in 1992 on the platinum album The Chronic. Snoop Dogg has been rapping, writing, and acting ever since. Over the past few decades, he sold over 30 million albums worldwide, which is a great achievement in and of itself.

In 2012, He changed his stage name to Snoop Lion after converting to the Rastafarian movement. It was around this time when Snoop Lion and King Ice came together. In 2012, the King Ice founders met Snoop at a club in Hollywood. The founders showed Snoop some of the latest King Ice pieces featuring Magnus the Lion, the company logo. He rightfully fell in love with the diamond covered lion pendants and has been an ambassador for the company ever since. Snoop is spotted wearing King Ice jewelry in almost every project he’s done in the last two years.

Music videos featuring Snoop wearing King Ice jewelry include “Hangover” by Psy, “Wiggle” by Jason Derulo, “Redlight” by Eddie Murphy, “Karma” by the Outlawz, and several solo music videos made by Snoop Dogg.

Inking a partnership with jewelry brand King Ice, Snoop Dogg’s Jungl Julz brand kicks off with 15 unique items ranging from pendants, rings, and bracelets to cigar tips.

About King Ice

King Ice is a streetwear lifestyle brand based in LA. It offers original designed jewelry and accessories featuring street-inspired themes. King Ice has worked with celebrities, stylists, and artists like Snoop Dogg,

Cuong Diep, the co-owner of King Ice said each item is “envisioned and approved by Snoop to appeal to both his fans and our own”. But more importantly, it provides a line of products that are both affordable and made from the highest quality of materials that fans of the King Ice and the Snoop Dogg brand will enjoy.”

Before the partnership ever came into fruition, Snoop Dogg was a fan of King Ice, enjoying the quality and originality that went into each King Ice designed pendant. As Diep recalls, “We tried a number of times to get noticed by Snoop and other celebrities. But what earned his attention and the admiration of other artists was our persistence and loyalty to creating original designs, two qualities that represent our Jungl Julz line.”
