Premier League 2019/20 Season Is Here
We hope you’re as excited as we are because The Premier League 2019/20 season is finally here! The 2019/20 fixtures were published on Thursday, June 13th. With Liverpool and Manchester City expected to compete for the title, you can almost sense the hype through the soccer fanbase. Clubs across the country have been busy preparing for the new season, and now that the season is here, they’re ready to give it their all.
Predictions for the Season
We all know that Manchester City has dominated for the past two years, but will they be able to perform just as well the third year in a row? They’re certainly off to a good start, with a win this past Saturday against West Ham, just one day after the start of the season. This first weekend of the season was also good for Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Arsenal, all of which came out with a win and 27 goals in total. As of today, Manchester City is 1st in Premier League, with upcoming games against Tottenham on Aug. 17th and Bournemouth on Aug. 25th.

This Year’s Premier League Teams
Every season, there are only 20 teams that are allowed to compete for the title. 17 of those are the top 17 teams from the previous season, with the other 3 being promoted from the Championship. This year, we saw Fulham, Cardiff, and Huddersfield being replaced by Norwich, Sheffield United, and Aston Villa.
